 King's Confectionery started the bakery business in 1973. It reconsolidated its structure and King’s Confectionery Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1993. Through continuous expansions, King's Confectionery Sdn. Bhd. has become the market leader in the Malaysian Confectionery Retail Industry. In 1999, The Malaysia Book of Records voted our company as The Largest Confectionery Retail Chain in Malaysia.
 Currently, our company employs more than 1000 employees (locals as well as Bangladeshis, Indians, Nepalese, Vietnamese, Myanmar) and operates 59 retail outlets. With an annual sales growth of more than 20%, we will continue to grow and expand, affirming our company as the market leader in the confectionery business. Our success comes from retail operators, product quality, marketing strategies, interior designs and packaging, which has also become a model in the industry.
Our company is still expanding. It is our plan to expand our operations across the state-national boundary to international destinations. Our retail outlets have already expanded across the state boundary to Penang in the North to Johor in the South of the Malaysia Peninsular. Furthermore, product and business development are in progress to export our products overseas.
In 2002, we incorporated a Joint-Venture company in Bangladesh with some of our former Bangladeshi employees. King’s Confectionery (Bangladesh) Pte Ltd started its operation in Feb 2003. Today we have 3 retail outlets in Dhaka. In Feb 2008, our new retail outlet in Chittagong will start its operations.
